Donnie Darko

I'd heard about this film a couple years ago, from someone saying how great it was, so when I saw it for £2 I brought it. It was totally amazing. It's easy to see why it's a cult classic, the twists and turns in the story alone make it it one. It leaves you guessing until the very end, it has everything you want in a film, a boy and his rabbit-no I'm joking.

The film is about a boy Donnie Darko, someone who is emotionally troubled and after escaping a freak accident he is haunted by an imaginary rabbit Frank, who warns him about the end of the world, but then orders him to commit crimes which he follows. As the end of the world gets closer his stability slowly melts away, as Frank haunts him.

I honestly want to watch it again, it was really good and very entertaining. The film leaves you guessing until the end. Here's a funyn tidbit, 10 minutes after the end of the film in the kitchen my mum-who slept through most of the film goes "I have Mad World stuck in my head," funny bit is it was the last song in the film, subconscious woo!
